Intro:

This is the next torrent in my "scrubbed" NTSC-U Wii game project. The plan is to scrub every single Wii US release, regardless of if it saves 100mb or 4gb. Since I was planning on doing this to store my Wii collection anyways, I thought I'd share it with all of you at bitgamer. This letter is complete as of today .

What is "scrubbed"?

"Scrubbed" refers to using the program wiiscrubber. What this program does is examine the game image, and looks for what people call garbage or unused data. This is basically filler in the image that has no game data in it. Wiiscrubber then takes this and converts the code to 0s so that the image will in turn compress more than if you hadn't done this process. The result is usually a huge cut in size of the compressed game image. Some images will compress to only a few 100 mb! Keep in mind that when you unrar these images, the images themselves will still be over 4gb or so in size. This process is intended to save space for storing your games as compressed files. The games will play exactly as unscrubbed images do, there is no game data missing. You do not need to use wiiscrubber to use any of the images in this torrent, I have already done this for you.

More Technical Info:

Wiiscrubber 1.4 has been used here, with the 0xFF setting and keep headers on. All images are .iso format, and have been rarred in 100mb chunks. I've also renamed all .iso images to match both the rar and folder names of the game. This makes it nice and clean for everybody. Winrar was set at "best" setting. All games were scrubbed no matter what amount of space was saved. Updates have not been removed and games have not been brick-blocked, my intent was to only scrub the images and keep the rest of the data intact.
